To fulfill our mission of educating the public and psychological community about sexuality and gender, the Los Angeles Sexuality Center supports individuals and organizations involved with interdisciplinary research related to sexuality.
Research conducted by members of the LASC research community, including Center professionals, affiliated students and other professionals, may be funded by grants from the LASC endowment or outside sponsors. Center professionals provide assistance to the LASC research community by helping to identify appropriate funding opportunities and assisting in the development of research proposals.

The Center also supports the dissemination of information and research findings by making available the work of the LASC research community in the library and special collections, including their publications, photographs and materials in various media that are in circulation or available for reference in the LASC reading room. Assistance is also provided when submitting articles to professional journals for publication.
